What kind of church is The Congregational Church of Westborough?

We're pretty straightforward - as a part of the United Church of Christ, we love our children, we love our neighbors, we love our Earth, and we love God. Everything we do seeks to show that love and grow our faith so that we can walk together in Jesus' way, led by the Holy Spirit.

We believe that God is still speaking through Scripture which is a living, breathing document. We have a non-binding statement of faith that guides what we believe, but we do not have a creed. Instead, we believe that each Christian hears the voice of God and we may not accept the exact same details of faith. 

What does a Sunday morning gathering look like?

Our service lasts about an hour, and is a blend of traditional and modern music and liturgy. Our pastors help us gain greater insight into the teachings of the Bible and our own lives. Sometimes we laugh. Sometimes there are tears. We are together, and God is here.

How do I find the online worship Zoom link?

Just contact the church office for an invitation! We keep that link private to keep our digital worship space safe for all who participate, and we love to join in our "virtual coffee hour" after the service. We'd love to have you join us. 

What should I wear?

Some people wear suits or dresses. Others wear jeans and boots. We're just glad to gather together - wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable! 

Where should I park?

We have the parking lot next to the church, but that fills up quickly. Street spots are available on West Main Street, and additional parking is available next to the Library.
